Adam Day, Director

Adam Day’s forthcoming collection is Winter Inventory (Sarabande Books), and he is the recipient of a PSA Chapbook Fellowship for Badger, Apocrypha, and of a PEN Emerging Writers Award. His work has appeared in the Boston Review, Lana Turner, APR, Poetry London, AGNI, The Iowa Review, and elsewhere.

Aleksis Karlsons

Born to Latvian parents in San Francisco, California, Aleksis has been living in Latvia since 2006. Aleksis manages Omnium Properties, a real estate firm that owns and operates historical commercial and residential properties throughout Latvia, including the Bergs Bazaar. He is also the CEO of Hotel Bergs, Latvia’s premier luxury boutique hotel, and a founding member of Galerija BB, an art and antique gallery. In addition, Aleksis serves as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia. Aleksis graduated from Colgate University in 2000 with degrees in German Literature and Russian Studies, and received his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 2003.
